Sleeve Anchors are hardware devices used to fasten to concrete.  Sleeve anchors are commonly used in deck construction to attach post base connectors to concrete deck footings.  Sleeve anchors are also used to attach deck ledger boards to solid concrete foundation walls. 

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions when installing sleeve anchors.  Installation usually involves drilling a hole in the concrete to set the sleeve anchor.  Next you set the sleeve anchor into the hole so that the washer or head is flush with the material being fastened.  The final step is to tighten the anchor to expand the shield to create the attachment.
