These are the posting guidelines and my advice to everyone.

We do not give recommendations on products. Please do not waist your time and ours by asking our opinions on the best...

First do a search above before you post your question? The search is located above. It's likely your question has been answered before. OR you can find the information on this web site in our articles.

This is a pure home owners educational forum. If you are a manufacturer that has snuck into decks.com as a home owner and is soliciting your products you will be banned from this forum and decks.com for ever. No one is allowed to use this forum but inquiring home owners and moderators. Solicitation posts will never be seen.

Let’s keep this a friendly place. This is a mature environment. Anyone posting negative or confrontational comments will be removed from the forum permanently.

Make your topic title descriptive. Do not use titles like "HEEELLLPPP PPPLEEASE!!!!" because other users who might be able to help you may overlook the topic if it doesn't look like it’s in their area of expertise.

For those of you who are not experienced in forums it is best to keep your Q & A as short and direct as you can. This will save everyone time and keep things moving.
