Decks Unique is an excellent Company. They do fantastic work. The owner of the company Louis Pagnutti is the ultimate professional, and gentlemen. He explains everything clearly. He wants to make sure you are going to be completely satisfied with the finished product. He is a very sincere and honest. He incourges you to call consumer affairs, the better business bureau. You don't have do the research to find the phone numbers. Lou doese that he gives you a list of the numbers to call.

I saw this company in Newsday and interviewed them along with a few others from the paper. There was no comparision bewteen Decks Unique & the other companies. Lou, who is also the owner, showed up on time, had a great presentation & was nothing but professional. That carried through from the time I signed a contract to compeletion of the deck. We got a permit & even the inspector commented to me on how good Decks Unique was from all aspects of the job. I could not be happier with my experience.

This company is top notch. From our first estimate until completion of our upper story deck, Lou's staff (sales, workers & Lou) was nothing but professional. We interviewed several of the other big deck companies on the island and Decks Unique's work & presentation was second to none. My husband & I would recommend them for a deck of any size and product type(wood/composite/plastic). Include this company if you are serious about having a quality deck installed at your home.

Experienced, professional, accommodating, prompt, and price competitive. Lou and his crew completed a beautiful 1,100 sq. ft. Ipe deck with full railings and stairs in 5 days. They gladly adapted their schedule to accommodate construction and excavation taking place in the same location. Construction was quickly approved and rated as "excellent" by the local building inspector. We just completed a 7 month home rennovation, and the deck was the easiest and most cost beneficial project of all.

Overall very pleased with the company and the product. They completed the job much faster than anticipated and my satisfaction is very high. Only issue that I have with the plank tops is after a rain, it takes a very long time for the water to either evaporate or I have to take a broom and sweep the puddles away ( I can deal w/ that though), otherwise I am a happy customer. Scott is a great salesman and his recommendations are useful and should be considered!!!

Louie and his crew framed out our front and back decks. He added 2 extra supports to ensure the deck frames were safe and secure. He did everything he could to make sure that the frames would pass inspection. I highly recommend him.

Decks Unique did a moderate size deck for us in our backyard in TimberTech & it game out great. From the first time I met there salesman for an estimate till the final nail was put in the deck, they were nothing but professional. The salesman showed up for the estimate 10 minutes early, was courteous, and gave us some great ideas. All that carried through to the building process with the owner Lou. These guys are second to none as far as there professionalism, price, and quality of work.
